Failed my 1 hour glucose test with a 140, ended up having to take a 3 hour Glucose Tolerance Test. They didn't take into consideration that I had literally JUST had lunch and chocolate cake (someone brought in for a birthday) within the hour of having it done. I should've realized that I shouldn't have done that but pregnancy brain does funny things to ya!! I've never had issues prior to pregnancy with my blood sugar so having to take the GTT really dampened my confidence. Afterwards I felt fine aside from being thirsty, hungry and tired, so I was hopeful. Got my results today and passed flying colors! Just had to tell the world lol. Anyone else have any stories about GTT?
