Husband/bf/partner whistles at you (in public) in order to get your attention. How do you feel about it?

Your significant other is a gentleman, and is not machismo at all, but he chooses to whistle at you in a public place (you have headphones in) to get your attention instead of walking over to you. How do you feel about it?

I'm not a dog! I have a name I go by or you could say sweetie or babe or honey or wifey. But whistling at me I feel like a dog that has been trained to just come to you! I hate it.  My mom did it and I just don't like it.

I whistle at my husband or family/friends to get their attention... usually I say their name first, but I have a quiet voice apparently so no one hears me even if I think I'm projecting, my whistle is loud tho lol. No one seems to get offended by it.

Personally I love it.  Whenever my husband and I get separated in a crowded place he whistles for me (a cute little bird type whistle) and he always uses the same whistle, it's a special one just for me.  It instantly helps me locate him.  (I'm TERRIBLE at navigating.) I hear "my" whistle and I turn around and see him smiling at me from across the room.  😍
