Do you feed your baby until they fall asleep?

Baby cries when wakes up from nap and then cries after feeding even if we give a bit more. We burp after every ounce too. We have tried mylicon and gripe water as there are times you can hear gas/farting. Wondering if she's just fussy and wants to be held and its normal or it's not. Pediatrician advised us on the mylicon btw.
