So husband (we've been separated for 5 years just have gotten a divorce yet), has custody of our son in NY and I live in TN. I get him about about every 3 months or so for his breaks from school. For the last couple years his dad has continually asked me to come get him and have him live with me, then as few days before I'm supposed to get him he backs out.. My son was just here for a month and a half, went back home to his dad's for not even two weeks and his dad just texted and asked me to come get him and he's going to Pa for work and wants our son to live here for "the time being". Since there is a court order in place, I know we will BOTH be breaking it. Would you still do it and let your kid live with you? I'm going to do it, I guess just seeing what the outcome could be. I don't need any rude comments or questions. I'm just stressed out about all of this.
