Long distance relationship tip?

Before we got married, my husband (who was my BF back then) studied abroad and we were thousands of miles apart. We only saw each other in summer holiday. This lasted for 3 years. Skype was our thing. Then, 2011, he proposed after he finished uni, and graduated. After that, since our engagement until today, he works 4 hours away from me. We only spend time in weekends and holidays. I visit him when his roommate in the apartment is gone for vacation, and I also have a vacation (what are the odds but it happened). Moral of the story: if the love is there and both parties are committed, it can work perfectly. 😊 Despite the ups and downs, love wins.

We used to watch the same show/movie at the same time on Netflix and either skype or text each other during it. Was our equivalent of a date.  And like the others said, communication is a big one.

Communication. Always always always make time for each other. That's where my ex fell short. He didn't want to make the time and effort anymore.
