Enough milk??

Question

He seems to want to breastfeed every 20 minutes! 24/7! He latches, eats for 5 min then falls asleep. I lay him down and he wakes up and wants to eat again! Like, I can't never lay him down and clean or cook or anything without him waking up and wanting to eat again!
Anyone else???

Wake him up when he falls asleep to see if he continues to nurse Or (if you want) give him a pacifier as he may be just comfort nursing.

Totally normal and doesn't mean you have a low milk supply. When that would happen when my baby was super little I'd change his diaper once he fell asleep and then offer the other side. He was just too sleepy to finish eating but the change woke him up.

Just keep going! It gets SO much better and easier after the 3rd month. I am not looking forward to the newborn stage again 😫

My son does this. I give him the paci first then if that doesn't work we nurse again.
