When did you start?

I've been off birth control for a month now and haven't started my period. I've had uncomfortably intense PMS, which on some days make me wonder if I'm pregnant and on other days make me think my period will start but nothing yet. How long after stopping birth control did it take for your body /cycle to normalize?

It took me around 10 weeks! I was patiently waiting for a while haha

It took me 3 months to start my period again after going off the pill but it was regular from the first cycle of restarting. If you go more than months without a period then I would suggest you see your doctor, but if you're TTC there's always a chance you're pregnant! It could be a few different things causing your delayed period. Everybody's different!

I ended bc in May and I'm in my 4th cycle now and it's back to normal. The first cycles after stopping were irregular.

Not trying to be a downer, but my periods became vastly irregular after I got off of BC and have stayed this way. Hope that doesn't happen to you but it's something to be aware of. I'm not the only person with this experience.

It took me a little over a month to start my period. It was like 40 days after I stopped the pill. There were a few times where I thought for sure that it was about to happen but didn't. After that first cycle, my cycles have become regular again, around 29-day cycles. Every body is different though!

I stop taking it Saturday 7/23. I got my period that following Tuesday 7/26. According to glow I should be getting my period again, 8/24. So we will see!
