Sweet smelling urine?

For a couple of months now I've been having sweet smelling urine. It smells like syrup! My urine always smells sweet but especially after I eat or drink something sweet. It's so strong that as soon as I start peeing I smell it instantly. I occasionally shake and feel groggy. I'm planning on visiting my doctor since this has been persistent. I'm 5'3 and weigh 128 so I'm not overweight or "unhealthy". Not quite sure what's going on. Has anyone experienced this?
