What did you do to your damaged hair?

Moriah
So the first time I ever cut my hair I was 16, it was 3in past my knees (due to my parents not letting me for their religious purposes before). I had never colored it until after that sometime so you can imagine my hair was very healthy. I started cosmetology school in 2013, left in 2014 due to very high stress - grieving family members deaths.  When I was a teen I did a handful of box colors from friends of course, once I got until school I haven't touched box color since.. Up until this year I would say my hair hasn't been THIS damaged. I had a bad appointment all around, back in March, I told the stylist I didn't want layers and she gave them to me anyways. Showed her several pictures of what color I wanted and she didn't do it at all intact after she was finished she said "well it's not what you wanted but it looks good!". To me it didn't I cried afterwards! Lol. She had to tone my hair several times so I'm sure that didn't help. In April I got my hair redone by my stylist which was in Iowa at the time but she's just moved to Colorado so now I have to find a new stylist all over again.
** My question is what can I ask for at the salon to help my fried hair so I don't have to spend forever at just the consultation?!
1st picture is how my hair was redone by my stylist in April (the color), I haven't had a cut since March so yes it needs it bad too.
2nd picture was taken in June
3rd in July
4th is right now
