I've received so many compliments about how beautiful my ring is but as soon as I tell them is a cubic zirconia they are like 😮 and they stop talking about it.

Thing is I could totally have a diamond but I don't believe in them, is just an expensive stone that shines. My husband must be very thankful that I never wanted a diamond hah. So much money I could spend on important things that are costly but worthy, like living comfortably, visiting my family overseas each year, helping others that are in crisis, donating... but I must say I do love shiny/sparkling things so so much. Does anyone think like me? I feel like I'm the only one against having a diamond on my finger.
