My pack n play was the best. It has a bassinet feature with changing table and storage compartments and also a portable bassinet separately. With vibrating and an MP3 player with speakers.

Baby bjorn bouncer. Lil man loves it and so easy to bring every where we go!

A floor lamp we put behind her changing table. It has glass orbs on it and our little girl loves that thing. When she's fussy and sees it, she starts grinning and cooing at it. It's so funny. Also, the rock n play was a great buy.

I voted crib because it's our best investment for long term. I have a 2 month old and a 15 month old and both have cribs that will eventually convert to toddler beds later. The rock n play was amazing for the first month since we used it for naps/night time. But both of my babies were getting uncomfortable in it overnight, and we switched to crib tummy sleeping at 5 weeks. My first was not a big fan of the swing, but my second loves it. My first didn't have a bouncer, but my second seems to like it now. We never used a bassinet.

Splurge and Save, baby edition!

Our "splurge" would be our Pack 'n Play, just because of the bouncer / bassinet it came with; our daughter LOVES it.

Our "save" is the Baby Shusher. It is literally just a small speaker that makes a "shush" noise nonstop for 15-30 minutes. That's all it does. But it calms our baby SO well. It is super cheap on Amazon, and my husband jokes that if it had cost $100, it would have still been worth it.

Other than the swing I would say the rocking chair in front of the TV lol. When I breastfed a lot in the begging it was great she was happy and I got to watch movies and relax.

So far....our boppy or carrier.  We r co-sleeping right now.  She hates to B put down- she has a rock n play, pack n play, crib, swing, bouncer, activity gym, and a bassinet.....she prefers our arms.  She doesn't much like the stroller at this point either. :(
