Ok was staying in a rent house and yesterday morning got notification from city of Immediate Vacate of Premises. My landlord was supposed to be getting some things done with house and had put it off for 6 months. My fiancee and I had nowhere to go. My family is deceased except 1 grandpa 4 hours away and fiancees family is 3 states away. So I send landlord message about the city's notice and I get no response!!!! I contact his maintenance man who calls landlord and landlords response "I'm at a softball game and there's nothing I can do."

Let me say landlord has over 30 rental properties and 2 open apartments ready to rent out. He could've put us in one temporarily for couple weeks to work on our house. Just needs laminate flooring laid on plywood flooring and a plumber to install drain in shower oh 4 smoke detectors. That's it!!!! We painted, pulled carpet and completely remodeled bathroom ourselves. So still haven't heard from landlord which is SHITTY. He knows we had nowhere to go.

NOW Here's my praise report.

My General Manager at hotel I work at gave us a room overnight for free and let us bring our 2 dogs. While we were there I did some searching and found a 2 bedroom house for rent. Met the people at the house and loved the house. Told them our situation and they were more than willing to work with us on deposit. The most wonderful people!!! House has new appliances, all new bathroom, 3 new ac units, new hardwood floors and big backyard for my dogs. Oh ya I have Pitbulls which makes it very hard to find rent houses that will accept them. But they didn't mind said he used to have one and it was his favorite dog. So, got moved in house today!!!! Very excited and hoping now since not as much stress we just might conceive.

So I haven't told old landlord we moved our stuff yet. I've got to get my food out of house first. I would like to tell him how shitty that was yesterday and that you don't treat people like that!!! I've always paid rent.

Any Suggestions what to say and how to say?
