Pregnancy scare

My period is late by 8 days. I took a pregnancy test the 5th day I was late and it came out negative. I still have not gotten my period. I was really stressed and was positive that I was pregnant since me and the guy had done it, but the test came out negative. I took it around like 8 or 9 at night.  Should I take another one and take it in the morning?
