My boyfriend and I hardly ever have sex anymore. He is literally NEVER in the mood, and when I try to have sex with him he just stops me and ask why I always want to be sexual. It's not that I'm some super horny person or something, we just never have sex like we use to. We've been dating for almost two years. I just don't feel like our sex life should have dropped already. I'm just really confused. Please help.

I guess I should add in that we found out he has herpes and I do not. Right around that time he stopped having sex with me. Yes, he takes his medicine and we always use a condom. I understand the risk. But please give me advise and don't tell me to leave my boyfriend bc he has a STD. Thanks. ❤️❤️❤️

He's probably just isn't confident enough to have sex since he found out he has herpes. Talk to him about it, if that is the case assure him that it's okay. He shouldn't feel ashamed, let him know you accept him for who he is. Tell him how much you love him & appreciate him, afterwards he should come around.

He doesn't want to get you sick. Can't be another way around it. I know if that were me my drive to have sex with my man would drop too. Never stop letting g him know that you love him regardless of his illness. Because if you didn't you would've left the moment he found out. The fact that you are staying with him is a so sweet and brave. I give you mad respect, it's sad to think that there are women and men would leave a good relationship for something like an STI. If they truly loved their SO they would stay and support them

As the girl above me said, he's probably scared to give you herpes and if you really don't care then let him know! Buuuuut, if things between you two stop working out, and by accident you get herpes... It's just something to consider. I'm not saying leave him because of it, just be sure that you really love him and are willing to deal with the possible consequences.

He is probably worried about giving the herpes to you. It's a big thing and can mess with your health in many ways. And could prevent or ruin future relationships for you. It's not something to take lightly and I definitely wouldn't risk it
