confused / need to vent / ADVICE VERY MUCH NEEEEDED LOL.

Ahhh okay! So I've been talking to this guy for a few weeks now.. Things are going great, feel very comfortable being with him, we click so well! And I think I might actually love him.... Before any judgment, I have known this guy for a little over 2 years now. Started off as friends thru the internet, then he started developing feelings towards me and vise versa. The thing is... I never took him serious. We talked for over 8 months last year. Then things started fading away because I met a new guy that sounded like he knew what he wanted. So I gave the new guy a chance, got together, dated for about 6 months.... But, he changed, became very abusive with words, threatened me everytime i tried to leave him and what not. The first guy was still in the picture, we were friends, nothing more, he was fine with it.. Then I finally got the courage to really end things with the second guy, and continued talking to the first. He acts as if I never dated anyone, treats me the same , takes me out.. Stuff like that.. I guess what i am trying to say is, is it possible that this guy can possibly want something serious with me? He doesn't force me to have sex with him either, which is what i love! Besides the fact that we can talk to hours because of how alike we are! I guess I'm just afraid because he has a bad rep. But he tells me that he wants something withcme, maybe my insecurities are just busting my balls lol...
