What does this mean? Confused!

Just asked my husband, he's a PA. He said it's just a negative urine test, there was some bacteria but not enough to be a true urinary infection. Nothing to worry about. :)

I work in a microbiology lab. The result shows that there were some (but not massive amounts) of white blood cells. White blood cells are present when an infection is present. The culture did grow bacteria but because it was mixed they were unable to isolate a potential pathogen. The presence of  skin cells indicates that the sample has been contaminated with bacteria that lives in the skin. We would recommend a repeat sample. When you take the sample try to clean the area first and ensure that it is a mid stream flow. This should limit the number of skin cells and Therefore contamination.
