What color were your babies eyes at birth?

And what color did they end up being? My son is 3 weeks old and I know they will probably change. My eyes are brown and his dad's are bright blue. But my sister, and my grandfather have blue eyes so I'm hoping they stay blue!

My daughters eyes were so dark they were almost black. Her eyes are still extremely dark almost black and she's 9 months. My neice had bright blue eyes she's almost 6 years old and her eyes are grey/blue.

They are pretty much the same color as they were at birth. He is 1 now. My husband and I both have really light eyes though and we both had really blonde hair when we were kids but got darker in teenage years. I'm hoping his hair stays blonde though. It's so cute.

My sons eyes were grey as a newborn but now ate green/brown.  Hubby has blue eyes and I have brown.

All babies eyes are blue at birth because they haven't had any Sun to develop the melanin in there eyes, so they change as they get older because of the light exposure they have.
