Newborn neck rash

My 1 week old just developed this rash on the folds under his neck. I scheduled an after hours doctors appointment for tomorrow to make sure it's nothing serious. I sponge bathe him every couple of days and the rash is not bothering him. But in the meantime it still worries me. Has anyone had their LO experience this?
