Fur babies vs clean house?

Question

For those of you with fur babies, how do you keep the house clean...? We just bought our first house and the previous owner had a medium sized dog. The hair is unbelievable. Those nesting hormones are freaking me out trying to clean everything and the dog hair seems to multiply without the dog.

I have three cats and two dogs in a small apartment. Vacuum, dust, wipe. Every. Fucking. Day. Until your hands bleed. And then you die. 😫

If you don't have a dog and are trying to get rid of it all have the carpets AND have the furnace cleaned out. If the furnace is not cleaned out then the hair will keep being blown around the house.

If you don't actually have a dog, then just get professional deep cleaners in (which, frankly, you should've done before moving into the house). They'll get it sorted quickly. And don't forget to get your HVAC serviced and cleaned.

I vacuum and swiffer a few times a week. A little pet hair won't hurt the baby!

I have a cat and a dog but the dog isn't allowed in carpeted areas. But I vacuum daily. I probably don't have to but I like to clean!!! Lol I use dust wipes about three times a week. My parents have an air purifier and it works wonders but it also some how keeps the pet hair lifted (so it doesn't embed in the furniture or carpet) and it actually collects the fur and dust in little puff balls so it's easy to clean and get it all at once.

We have a Newfoundland so I Hoover everyday. I'm dreading going into hospital as I know 2 days without a Hoover and it will look like someone has cut his hair off and left on the floor

I just don't have a clean house LOL. I clean and dust multiple times a week but there's always dog hair I just gave up trying to stay on top of it. I found swiffer dusters the best for furniture and just a regulr old broom for the floors.

Vacuum everything including sofas and closets!! But if there is still dog hair check your vents maybe it's coming from the AC unit the AC usually has lots of dust and it captures all the pet hair and stuff maybe consider having someone check it out it could be dirty.. because by now the pet hair should be gone unless it's hidden in your AC vents or try washing all the carpets and buying a really good vacuum..

We have hard wood floors so every night when hubby goes to bed I steam mop, dust, and sweep.

We also kennel the dogs at night and when we leave, so that kind of helps I guess. But deciding to get rid of the carpets when we found out I was pregnant was the greatest decision we ever made! Have yet to regret it.
