Open adoption , daughters family moved away, didn't give forwarding address and I haven't heard from them in almost 5 months. Do I have any legal rights at all?

My daughter is now 5 months old. Well, their daughter technically. It was supposed to be an open adoption , but I haven't heard from them since her birth , i haven't seen a single picture and the address where they told me they lived is vacant. Do I have any legal right to the updates they promised me? Or to at least know she's okay?
