Does an epidural really affect your back?

Question

You see so many pple have told me and ived heard that the epidural affects your back? But i always assumed it would be because of giving birth as well.? I mean your body is going into a different stage when delievering. And is giving every muscle it has as well as your back. Im a FTM and honestly i know labor is going to be painful and might even get the epidural 😑

Honestly if your pain tolerence is high try going without it i had two natural births
And it was painful not going to lie but i did it
Our bodies are ment for labor
If your really need it then get it but i heard to many stories and i was to scared to get it😬

I was induced and got an epidural. Yeah, it's still kinda sore where it was pp, but I felt like I was literally gonna die from the pain before I got it. In my opinion it was TOTALLY worth it.

I've heard it can, and I was very scared for mine  (c-section) but mine, my MIL, my SIL and best friend all had epis and none of us had any issues

I've heard it can, but I've heard much more success stories than horror stories. I'm 100% getting one. You couldn't pay me enough to do this un-medicated

I was so afraid to get the epidural. But the shot itself didn't hurt and afterwards no pain maybe a little sore like a small bruise would feel, and still no back pain 3 weeks pp.

It isn't the same for all people. I had the epidural and I didn't have any side effects from it. It wasn't even painful when the needle went in my back.

No negative side effects my doctor said you only end up with problems with the person putting the needle in your back is not good or messes up

I have no experience with it, but my sister in law just had one and has had spinal headaches for the last week.

No side affects at all for me, it worked wonders. My sister had it and now has to go to a chiropractor monthly. The anesthesiologist missed x3 and she really feels like it was from that. So every experience will be different. This time.I'm going all natural with a water birth.

I did not have any negative side effects at all, I didn't even think it hurt getting either. And afterwards my back wasn't even sore. I had a fantastic experience with it.
