Depopravera Shot?

Hi girls! I just have a quick question, once my period starts, I go to my lady doctor, and get the shot. I just wanted to know your guy's opinion! 😊

I had a horrible experience on the depo. I gained a lot of weight, developed anxiety horribly, and was really sick for a while. It stopped my period, yes. But I'd rather have my period for a year than go back on the depo shot.

The only reason you gain weight on depo is because it gives you period cravings non stop and you sleep a lot. There is no correlation between birth control and the way your body processes or stores fat.

I got it and it gave me horrible side effects cramps acne and 20 pounds in weight gain I do not recommend this at all its been almost two years and my period has been irregular ever since. It took me around 6 months to even get my period after the shot wore off.

Overall I heard the shot is great if you don't want a period although it's know to cause weight gain and acne
