I had Cystits for about 4 weeks, due to the fact that I was taking all the medication but still having sex haha. Obviously it's an inflammation of your pee hole and so when they tell you not to have sex until it's better, don't! Also cranberry juice worked really well and sachets of medicine (bought at chemists) worked wonders. Just keep on drinking water!x

I was misdiagnosed for years. I kept being told i was getting reoccurant UTIs and it was actuallt reoccurant BV

Cranberry juice is a major preventative, just make sure you read the ingredients and "cranberry juice" should be first. A lot of those cocktails are mostly apple or pear. Azo also has a cran pill that works for me. And drinking lots of water on top of the juice can help flush you out if you feel one coming on. (You can drink a small glass of the juice every day if you get em frequently.)

I have hydronepherosis so get them a hell of a lot more than most people.

Preventing.. Wee before and after sex, drink cranberry juice and water more, I use wipes instead of tissue, never use tampons, no scented soaps and finally no tight clothing.

I use nitrofurantoin to treat them. Doctors can proscribe it
