Funny baby name stories? Mine had my family DYING!!!!

So before we found out we were having a little girl; I loved the name Ryder for a boy... That was until I put my bfs last name with it... Ryder Daley.... (Sounds like Ride-her daily).... What's even worse is we're not married so the last name may be hyphenated... My last name is Finger.. Ryder Daley Finger (ride-her daily finger).... Ryder Finger Daley (ride-her finger daily)....... How terrible is that?! We may not be able to hyphenate our last names with any name with how bad ours are together! Was so disappointed but my whole family, including I cracked up at it when I suggested it the first time out loud, didn't. Notice it sounded like that until then lmao!
(No negative comments about how we're not married, and our last name choices please)

Another is I also liked Baker for a boy too.. My nephews name is Hunter.. My friend processed to say "well looks like you'll have a hunter and a baker in the family, so many hobbies in one house !" I cracked up lol

I always liked the name Paige, but married a Turner. Our daughter would have been a real Paige (page) Turner. Haha definitely not using that.

I'm pretty sure we'll have that dilemma in the future. I didn't know how to pronounce my fiancé last name at first which is Fuqua(Few-gahway)  but I kept reading it as FUH-YUH so I kept questioning whether someone has ever said his first name then "fuck you". I can see this also happening to our son "Malakye, Fuck you." And I sure hope it happens during an event where I'm recording. 😂

Not as funny as yours at all but hubbys last name is Fields so we have to nix almost all flower and nature names because our child will sound like a field of flowers. 💐

I have always liked the name Tucker for a boy. My husband wants the first name to be Richard no matter what we pick for a middle name so smart little me not thinking about the fact Dick is a nickname for Richard suggested Tucker. We would have named our son Dick Tucker!! 😂😂😂 so happy we thought of that before we actually named him. Lol.
