Back to school and periods
Being August 21st, most of us have either gone back to school or are about to..So I decided it would be fun to list a bunch of life hacks for when you are on your period at school.
1) If you have a locker, I strongly suggest buying a small container to put your period essentials in. And if you don't want to buy one, you can totally diy one out of a candy box.
2) Make sure you always have some kind of supplies with you at all times. I personally put some pads in my locker, backpack and jacket just to be sure. This will be proven extremely helpful especially if your cycle is unstable and you don't know when your next period will be.
3)If you have pe and you don't want to tell your teacher that you are on your period, just tell them that your stomach hurts. They usually understand that you are on your period and don't tell you anything but if they don't believe you, add that you feel like you are going to puke. Works every time😉
4) Make sure you and your friends have a secret code for periods, pads, cramps etc. That way if you want to talk about something like that in public, no one will ever know what you are actually talking about.
5) Worried about leaking? Here are 2 ways to prevent it.
Way #1: Wear two layers of pants. I know it sounds silly but it is pretty helpful. Works best if you wear leggings under your sweatpants. Comfortable and practical
Way #2: Wear two pads, one on top of the other. Quite obvious.
These are some hacks I personally use. Feel free to comment your school period hacks as well as any question you may have.
