I don't want my friends to have sex

I'm 22. Since I was a teenager I've desperately tried to control my friends' sexuality and relationship with the opposite sex. Nothing gets on my nerves more than knowing my friends are sexually active. Why am I like this? I realise its not normal but I was hoping to get over it growing up.
