To go or not to go...

So one of my best friends boyfriend texted me and said he's going to propose to her and he wants me there. Anyways, I don't support this. He treats her like shit and she knows it. They've been together for 3 1/2 years and I can't tell you the amount of times she's called me crying. But then a day or week goes by and they don't have a fight and she lets that overrule everything. He emotionally abuses her and she knows but doesn't think she has anywhere to go.

This isn't my business, I know but I don't know what to do. I know she wants to marry him and would want me there but at the same time I know she wants out she just hasn't left him yet (she's been talking the last 2 weeks about leaving him). As a true friend do I go and watch the engagement happen or say no that I can't make it?
