My friend has a second baby shower for her second baby, and her first is just 2 years old now

My first born is 6 yrs old. We didn't think there would be anymore due to medical issues. And now we're having our 2nd girl but we have NOTHING. So we're having 2 showers. Also, I've been to a few baby showers for 2nd or 3rd baby's where a lot of time has passed between kiddos. I think it's totally acceptable.
