It's normal but it shouldn't be very painful. Keep your doctor informed about the frequency of the cramping and the intensity. They may advise you to get a urinalysis to make sure you don't also have a UTI which could cause consistent cramping.

Yep! I've had cramping all through my pregnancy so far. I'm 13 weeks and it's only gotten worse since baby is growing and your uterus is stretching to accommodate. All your muscles and organs are shifting too so discomfort is totally normal. As long as there's no bleeding with it, you should be fine.
