6 week growth spurt?

I feel like I'm losing my mind. My baby boy is feeding every hour and then some. He's been snacking all day. What can I do should I try formula at night to see if he sleeps longer? Ftm in need of help please. Ps I can't believe he's already 6 weeks!!

You also could pump and have someone else use a bottle to feed your breastmilk. That's what I do and I actually get a little sleep during growth spurts!

Just remember that this will pass. No need for formula, it won't make much of a difference and will affect your supply. He is building up your supply now, try to go with the flow. Watch some Netflix, relax and chill! At least it's your first and there are no other kids fighting for your attention.

It's tough as a breastfeeding Mom during growth spurts for one. Obviously it's unto you but it's only temporary. If you are desperate for sleep then go ahead and do formula , just make sure whatever bottle you use is highly recommended for nursing mothers so he doesn't get nipple confusion. Otherwise it will be over before you know it and back to normality ;)
