When did your LO start sleeping in their own room?

How was the transition? My LO is only almost 3 weeks. We're currently transitioning to formula. I'm trying to decide a good time to get him in his own room.

We are going to try transitioning her at 6 months. I say try because up until recently, she is no longer sleeping through the night so i cant see myself getting out of bed and going into another room 3 times a night. The goal is 6 months but it will depend on when her sleeping pattern regulates again

After day 3! She has slept well ever since. Slept through the night at 9 weeks and then most nights since then.  You all sleep better when you're in different rooms. She's just right across from our room so I never felt nervous about it.

I didn't really consider it until about 3 months and he had started sleeping a little better.

Started at 6 weeks, do it as soon as you feel comfortable with it. Older the baby gets, the harder the transition. My LO did fine at 6 weeks and having the bideo baby monitor eased my fears.

We moved him at about 1 week. He kept making noises in his sleep then got a serious case of hiccups and we needed sleep! He is right across the hall so we can still hear him when he is waking up. He sleeps fine through the night but we have trouble getting him to sleep in his crib during the day. As soon as I put him down during the day he wakes and and cries 😩

Ours has been sleeping in his room since around 1 month.  He's not in his crib, but in his bassinet.  He's 2 months now and is only waking once a night (last night he was down by 8:30, slept till 3:30 (ate/changed), then woke up this morning at 7!  Next transition to crib at around 3 months.  :)

I started letting my baby sleep in her own room at about 7 months old. But before that, i had her crib set up in our room, and she started sleeping in her crib at about 3 months old.

My son was 4 months when we switched him to his own room. Transition was great, he acted like he's been sleeping there this whole time!
