Teething?

Teething maybe?
Baby has been drooling a lot & always has his hands in his mouth.. Also the past couple days has been cranky & he is always a happy baby.. He will be 4 months Wednesday maybe he's teething? How long before the teeth actually come through usually?

My lo started teething at 2 month's; she will be 3 months the 31st. I took her to see her pedi for excessive drooling and she was very very fussy. I thought it was her reflux meds doing it and nope her pedi said she is teething. I didn't think it can start that early but I was told babies can start teething as early as 2 month's and not get a tooth till around 6 months or later!

Answer

Teething can start around this time, but it will take many, many months sometimes for a tooth to actually come out of gums. Also at this age, they are discovering their hands and always want to have it in their mouth. My LO does the same.
