Yeast Infection

So I've suffered with an itchy vagina for a while, maybe months. I feel like it's always a concern. It's never my vagina itself but the skin around it and the labia. It can get so bad that I literally itch the skin raw. Recently I had a UTI and was put on antibiotics which I know can cause yeast infections. But like I said I've been dealing with itchiness for a long time . The skin around my vagina is red and irritated as well. It doesn't have a horrible scent but I mean when does a vagina ever smell like roses you know? Is there ways to find out for sure that I have a yeast infection that I don't have to go to the doctor for because I'm working everyday and start school soon so fitting in a doctors appointment is extremely difficult. Also is there any over the counter cures? Any information is welcomed!!
