That's false! I'm a labor and delivery nurse and FTM deliver at all different times from 24 weeks to 42 weeks.

I had my first exactly a week early. My friend had her first a week late. All depends on the baby.

In general most ppl do not deliver on their due date . It's a real small percent that do .

A due date is an estimation. Most of my family members were about a week past dd when they delivered.

I had my son on his due date but I know it's not normal for that to happen.

This is my first so I don't have any experience with this yet lol but my doctor told me that because I have a long cervix (I think that's what she said) it's unlikely that I will go into labor before my due date because it will help hold her in for as long as possible. So either my due date or maybe even a little late. She's due dec. 21st, so I'm hoping she doesn't come late... I don't want to spend Christmas in the hospital 😓 and my fiance has three kids with late dec. Birthdays already 😅 dec. 20th and twins on dec. 29th I was hoping she might be a little earlier than her due date to kind of separate the birthdays a little bit but I'll be happy with any day she decides to come.
