2 day period

I have been off birh control since April. I had been on it since 18 and stopped right before turning 25. I had regular periods while on BC. Once I went off BC Af showed up the Sunday of my period week. Then went to Wednesday's. Since October my period has started early Saturday morning and done by Sunday night. My period is also very light. Anyone else experienced this? I am planning to make an appointment at OBGYN.
