Pregnancy Migraines
I had a migraine on Saturday and I wanted to go to the hospital. Thank God for my husband. Now, I've had migraines before. You know, the kind where you see the little dots and get tunnel vision and you know that within thirty minutes you won't be able to stand any light at all whatsoever and you'll be puking and the only way to end it is to be knocked out cold, all on top of your head throbbing from your eye sockets to the base of your skull? Yeah, those ones. Saturday morning, I woke up with tunnel vision and dizziness. Fast forward twenty minutes, and I wanted to die. I literally wanted to die. My entire skull was throbbing and no position eased the pain and pressure. I puked so many times and to the point where it was just stomach acid. I had nothing in me, but I just kept right on heaving. It was so awful. Finally munis and pumped me full of Powerade and a piece of toast and I somehow managed to fall asleep for 15 minutes at a time. It was like that for hours. Like I said, that was Saturday, and I still don't feel right. Now I feel like I have low blood sugar or something and I sometimes want to vomit. I hope that it is just a lingering effect of the awful migraine I had, and not something like gestational diabetes. All I know is that I wouldn't wish migraines on anyone.
