Anterior placenta. Your experience. Will it cause complications?
This is my sixth baby and I'm 20+5 today. I just found out at my anatomy scan yesterday. I kind of had a feeling I had this since I haven't felt any movement until about 3-4 days ago but didn't think of it anymore. I asked my doc yesterday of it was ok and she said yes. Since I've had time to think about it, I'm wondering if it will cause any complications. Does it affect the birth weight of the baby? Higher or lower birth weight than 'average'? Will I still be able to deliver naturally and in the birthing pool like I have with my past four births? Am I at higher risk of going into labor before my due date or going past it? Will labor be the same as with a posterior placenta, easier or more difficult? I do plan to ask my doctor at my next apt but that's not for another month. Any info from you ladies will help easy my anxiety about it. Thanks!
