Lo Loestrin Fe Bleeding??

My gynecologist recently put me on Lo Loestrin Fe and I'm still on my first pill pack. On Friday or Saturday last week I accidentally took an active pill about 45 minutes late... Now I've been bleeding for 3 days. Did I really screw myself over and how long is this going to last? Is this breakthrough bleeding or spotting?

It’s very common to breakthrough bleed within your first month. I absolutely love this birth control compared to all the other birth control pills I have been on. Once your body has adjusted there are little side effects.

Happens to me all the time 😑 but I love the pill so much I deal with it haha. Since it is such a low dose of estrogen you have to be very diligent about taking it on time. I am super on time with it now but when I missed one, my bleeding lasted 10 days and then cleared up.

No worries! I'm on it too and the taking it 45 minutes late shouldn't do that, but if you just started it then bleeding is normal. I had a good bit of spotting the first month, but if it exceeds that you should consult your gynecologist
