Funeral drama

I recently posted about the possibility of having to see my boyfriends daughters mother at their daughters boyfriends fathers wake. I found out today that the wake is this evening. It seems to me that my boyfriend does not want me to go. I'm not sure the reasoning 100% but it seems to me that it's because his ex will be there. We've been together for 7 years, and we have been starting to move things in for me to move in. I've known his daughter for longer then 7 years, because I've known the family for a while. I've known the boyfriend for all the years they've been together. I got a sympathy basket sent to him and his family from my boyfriends family and just planned a trip for all of us. Am I over reacting? Or is there possibly another reason he's acting weird.
