I've had it for several years. The first outbreak was absolutely horrific!!! My doctor claimed it was the worst he'd seen in a long time. But being it is HSV1 and not HSV2, it doesn't really flare up much. And sometimes I'm not even sure it is a (tiny) flare up or if I'm just paranoid. I don't take the meds daily, just when needed. But today, I'm starting the second treatment run in a month's time. Im irritated and just looking for support.
