Crib or bassinet?

Question

I'm inbetween a crib and the halo bassinet, I would prefer a 3 in 1 which would last longer than a bassinet. Any suggestions?

I just bought this bassinet for $20! Will use it for the first few months and then I will use the crib ☺️ I couldnt spend $200 for something that would only be used less than 6 months

Bassinet is useful only for like 3-4 months, after that it sits in a corner of your house taking space. I find it a waste of money.

I have both. The crib I took apart and put it in the closet until this LO outgrows the Halo. Seeing as the max weight is 25-30 pounds that a good 5-6 months. I am going to breastfeed again so the Halo is a life savior for when it's a late night feeding. Close enough to the bed without baby actually sharing the same bed. Great space savior. If you can afford to get a Halo and then a crib I would.

I've read a lot of people actually use a rock n play for the first few months. I'm getting one just because I liked it so much with my daughter. She used it for naps and it was so easy to take anywhere. I will try and see how he sleeps in it. If not my sisters bassinet will do until I'm ready for the crib.

I LOVE this halo. I doubt very much I will regret the decision before kid goes in his actual crib.

Why a halo bassinet? They are only in them for 3 to 4 months. A halo bassinet is 210 dollars. I would do a cheaper bassinet then a crib that's what I'm doing... I have a 4-1 crib. But starting with a bassinet
