Help! I may have had sex while I had light tampon in 😁

I went to hang out with my boyfriend knowing that today was my last day. When I got there we smoked some *green* and I forgot if I took it out before we had sex or not. After we had sex and I went to pee though, I found out that I was bleeding.  I just got home and took a shower while exploring the hell out of my vagina (with clean fingers). I could feel the tampon, but I still can't remember for sure ever throwing it away. I'm 17 years old and I don't want to ask my mom to go to the gyno for this- especially if it's not even in there- but I also don't want to wait until it gets infected.
