Dakota access pipeline

So I'm a little shocked no one has been talking about this here in the CC. The Dakota access pipeline is a 30-inch diameter pipeline that will connect the Bakken and Three Forks production areas in North Dakota to Patoka, Illinois. It will transport crude oil through several states. The problem with this is that the company is wanting to go straight through the treaty lands on the reservations in North Dakota. The government is allowing this to happen. There is a protest going on to try and stop this. Just recently the government shut down the water supply going into the reservation to try and stop the protests from happening.
