Feeling impatient

Been TTC for a while now....my first pregnancy was twins?. They are our little surprise babies...now that were planning on getting pregnant this time its so difficult? Last month I was sooooo devastated when I got my monthly 'friend'. ? suggestions.....how long would you wait till you see a MD for help ?
