Laughing gas during labor

The hospital I am delivering at just started using laughing gas or nitrous oxide as a form of anti anxiety and pain relief during labor. I'm curious to see if anyone has used it yet and their opinion?

Apparently they have been using it in Europe for a very long time and it decreases the need for an epidural.
