When were you prescribed Clomid?

We have been TTC for 7 months. I assumed any drugs to assist would have to wait until seeing a specialist after TTC for 1 year. But I see others on here TTC for 7 mon already on clomid?

When were you able to be prescribed clomid? Was it from your OBGyn or Fertility doc?

I was prescribed clomid the same day I asked my doctor for it he gave me provera first and plenty of refill for both. It wasn't a fight or him to give it to me. It was my third OB, visit

I was prescribed clomid at 6 months of trying but I also have pcos. I am going to my obgyn right now.

I was given Provera and Clomid after 8 months. I don't have regular cycles, so it's REALLY hard to TTC. I just finished the Provera, start Clomid on Wednesday.

I explained to my doctor that I wanted to be proactive and not just wait, and they were very willing to give me persciptions. I've been seeing the same Obgyn for years, and have had irregular cycles with no known case since I was in my early 20's, I'm now 31.
