Should I return my NB size onesies?

Question

Most of the stuff I bought has been 3M or 3-6m (or even some 6-12m because it's so effing cute), but I did buy a pack of 6 onesies in the newborn size, figuring she needs something to wear right out of the womb.

I am 5'10" and my husband is 6'3", so we are big people. Babies in my family are typically 8+ pounds, so should I just forget about the newborn size?

EDIT: Thanks so much everyone! I don't know why, but my mom was like "why'd you get those??? Take them back you won't use them." But she hasn't dressed a baby for ~30 years so I figured I would check with you all ☺️ I'm gonna keep them! (And the tags and receipts)

I would definitely save them. Keep the receipts but you never know when it comes to babies. My second was born at 32 weeks! I never would have thought I would have a preemie but it happened.

I would keep the NB size personally. My dauther ended up coming early at 36 weeks and 5 days she weight 5 lbs exact. My husband & I were big babies and she she came out so tiny. She was wearing premie size for about 2 1/2 weeks and she was wearing NB size for about 3 months led alone her clothes that were 0-3 months. And if you planning on taking her out and dressing her in a new outfit and taking photos in each outfit like I did then I would get 2 weeks worth of outfits. Onesie and footy pjs are always the best!! ☺️

I would keep it. Both of my babies were 8lbs and they fit into newborn for the first month or so.  I wouldn't buy as much newborn as 0-3, 3-6, but make sure you have some clothing to get through the period where they may not fit into the bigger sizes.

Both of my kids were over 8 lbs & wore newborn still. If u both r pretty tall baby could be pretty long also. My son was 8lbs 3 ozs & 22in when I put newborn clothes on him they were still a little big. It's good to have a variety of sizes.

No don't return them lol you need them trust me. My daughter was 8lbs 2oz which isn't small and wore newborn size for at least 2 months. My son was born 6lb9oz  and newborn size was too big! Even though he wasn't preemie I had to pick up some preemie size stuff so he had something to wear his first month. I think.this time I'll get a few preemie things just in case and keep tags on them.

My son was 9lbs 10 oz. he fit in newborn for never. It was snug. I am not getting newborn for this one. She will grow into t 😁

My big babies fit newborn at first! You don't need NB but if you have them they will probably get some use for a couple weeks.
