Had them before birth, ended up having a c-section, still completely constipated in hospital. Nurse gave me a suppository so I had one BM which was only temporary relief. My butt was then so sore from trying to go and then going. Nurse then gave me some kind of cream which they sent me home with that did not relieve or help at all. Sent my husband out for tucks pads and tried using them. Alls they did was make my butt burn/feel like it was on fire (not sure if they r supposed to do that) but they did not help my hemorrhoids at all. I am two weeks pp and still having trouble. Went to the store today and bought preparation h and finally felt a little bit of relief today. Not 100% but at least I could feel the prep h was doing something. Any one have their own remedies for getting rid of these or something that worked well for you??
