Having my guy best friends around my daughter?

Would you consider this to be wrong? I never really bring her around my male best friends. They've been wanting to meet her, but I kind of feel like it will confuse her since I'm a single mom and her father isn't in her life. What are your opinions on this?

I think it's fine . Maybe Juss introduce as uncle or even moms friends. That's how I felt with my son when I was single but I always referred to them as uncle

She won't know the difference. As long as you keep reinforcing that they're not her dad, it'll be fine. You can call them "uncle ---" or their first names or whatever. She'll grow up knowing them as that, understanding they're not her dad.

Honestly, I see no reason for her to be confused. If she's young, she will believe what you tell her, it's as simple as saying "these are my friends, yes they are men, but they are not like husbands etc etc" and she should just be like yup cool got it? If she's older, than chances are she's old enough to understand the difference without even needing an explanation. If she doesn't get it at first, well surely she will once she meets them and gets to understand your relationships with them and whatnot. Don't stress about it.

I think it'd be fine. If you feel that they will be a good influence and good male role model for her in a moms friend or uncle type role, then it will be good for her to see those types of relationships if her dad isn't around

As long as you don't do anything to indicate that they are more than friends I don't think it will confuse her. It will just be something in her life. I know my son is going to have a lot of "aunts and uncles". You can tell her they are friends like how you are friends with so and so.

You're not being physical around her, so why not? If anything you're only teaching her that you cannot be around men unless it's romantic.
