Baby's weight?

Question

I'm 32 weeks & I was just wondering when will I find out how much my baby weighs? My doctor still hasn't told me. The last appointment I had was 3 days ago she just measured my belly & I heard his heartbeat but that's it. I'm a FTM so I'm kinda new to this. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

I won't have anymore ultrasounds but from the 20 week scan they said she is in the 29th percentile and my belly measures exactly on every appt so I guess she is normal sized idk 😂😂

You will probably only find out if they measure you and find its not matching up with your dates.
Thats what happened to me yesterday so i am scheduled for a growth scan..

Other than that there is no real reason to find the weight out..

I feel like a lot of women on here are getting growth scans. However, it's common practice not to have another ultrasound after 20 weeks unless complications arise. My last ultrasound was at 20 weeks and I won't be getting another one unless there's a concern. Plus, weight estimates via ultrasound can vary up to a pound which makes them not super accurate.

At my office they do a growth ultrasound between 30-32 weeks. I had one yesterday at 31 weeks.

Like everyone is saying, they probably won't do another US unless you have a complication. But they are usually off a bit. I think I've seen people say it varies by up to 2lbs. So I wouldn't be too concerned with finding out until they arrive. I've heard of people getting induced because the ultrasound showed a "9 or 10 lb baby" and comes out 7 lbs 😑😂.

You should've found out at your measurement ultrasound. That's the only way they can tell about how much baby weighs.

You don't necessarily get to know their weight before they're born. Some doctors do more ultrasounds where they can "measure" the weight of your baby but it's really only an estimate and can be up to 2 pounds off either way. Since it's not very accurate my doctor doesn't do another ultrasound just for that and will only do it if my belly were to grow way too fast or stop growing completely.

With first I didn't get a weight on baby till 36weeks ... This  time I got one 28 weeks and 32 weeks.. Maybe you should ask after ur next ultrasound
